MSIG Insurance picks Wild for social media duties

Wild Advertising and Marketing has been appointed as the social media agency of record for MSIG Insurance for two years effective December 2017. The agency is tasked to provide strategic advice on content and social media marketing for the Singapore market.

It will also handle content creation and community management, media buy, tracking and monitoring of owned channels, and social listening of external conversations amongst other measures.

John Brice, SVP for branding and corporate communications, MSIG Insurance (Singapore), said that during the pitch process, Wild demonstrated a strong understanding of its brand proposition of “going above and beyond”.

“We have absolute faith in their creativity and that they will be able to help us expand our outreach and engagement on social media,” Brice added.

“We are excited to partner with MSIG to take their social media capabilities to the next level. People often think of insurance-related content as uninteresting but we aim to truly connect with Singaporeans through their needs and aspirations at the heart of our content strategy.  Our strength has always been to elevate content such that it becomes more inspiring and engaging,” Lee Kai Xin, interactive director, Wild Advertising & Marketing, said.
