MediaCorp is participating in a nationwide campaign called 99%SME. The campaign aims to raise awareness of SMEs in Singapore.
99%SME is an initiative by Singtel and DBS Bank launched to educate and encourage consumers to support SMEs by shopping with them during Singapore’s first-ever SME week happening on 29 October to 1 November 2015.
As part of the campaign, MediaCorp will offer three advertising grants worth SG$100,000 each to the top three SMEs that garner the most shared promotions and the most ‘liked’ videos. The winning SME can use the $100,000 advertising grant on any of MediaCorp’s media platforms, including the use of its Creative Services team.
Jack Lim, MediaCorp chief commercial officer said, “We’re proud to be the official media partner for 99%SME – it’s a great initiative that gets big businesses and the community behind SMEs in engaging and practical ways.”
He added in working closely with SMEs, the company realised that some of their key challenges are in the areas of branding and marketing.
“This is where we can definitely help. Our advertising products and solutions help them get the word out and connect with their customers. We aim to help SMEs achieve sustainable growth and drive our local economy in the long run,” Lim said.
