The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) has launched a spot in celebration of Deepavali. This was in partnership with Tribal Worldwide Singapore. The spot looks to capture the different traditions of Deepavali through different time periods from the 1960s to present times.

The spot follows different Hindu families through the different time periods in Singapore. This shows the families celebrating Deepavali and performing different traditions such as the oil bath ritual, the making of Rangoli and Deepavali snacks such as Murukku, and the bringing of lights through the igniting of sparklers.

Since its launch on Facebook last week, the spot has garnered around 410k views, 8.2k reactions and 2,336 shares at the time of writing.
