Malaysia Airline relaunches with #todayishere campaign

Malaysia Airline is running a new campaign on its social media channels called #todayishere. The campaign kicked off on the last day of August, ahead of the launch of its new entity Airlines Berhad (MAB).MAS said on its social media channels that #todayishere is a “proclamation of the joy of travelling.”A great milestone for all of us at Malaysia Airlines Berhad is here today. As we celebrate the first of September as the national icon, we look forward to enhancing the inflight experience of our customers and embodying the reason to travel on us, which is to visit Malaysia.”The management team also handed out teddy bears to passengers with one lucky winner on MAS’ flight bound to Melbourne, MH149, a pair of business class tickets. In a press statement MAS said that the airline aims for a seamless transition from MAS to MAB as it focuses on stabilizing its operations to ensure perfect on-time performance.Most recently MAS also appointed a new marketing lead, Charles McKee after its CMO Dean Dacko left the company in early August. The company also appointed M&C Saatchi in Malaysia as its lead creative agency ahead of its revamped branding plans.
