Lewis PR names new SVP for Asia Pacific region

Global communications agency, Lewis PR has appointed Scott Pettet as SVP Asia Pacific.Based in Singapore, Lewis APAC regional headquarters, Pettet will be responsible for driving the region forward in terms of revenue and geographic reach. He will also work closely with the global head of Lewis Pulse, Stephen Corsi, to drive the company’s digital marketing proposition across the region.Pettet (pictured) takes over from current regional senior vice president Andy Oliver who is moving to the company’s headquarters in London and will assume a new global senior client liaison position from 2 November.Pettet has previously held senior roles in both the Sydney and Singapore offices. He will report to Andres Wittermann, EVP EMEA & APAC.Globally, Lewis has revenues in excess of US$72 million. According to the agency, this represents a year-on-year growth of over 40%.In April, the agency received a US$27 million funding package from its global banking partner, HSBC. The funds will allow Lewis to accelerate the launch of new services and expand operations including hiring 25 new staff in Asia Pacific by the end of the year, focusing on India and China.
