KK Tsang takes a slice of Bread Digital

Former GroupM CEO KK Tsang has stepped in to accelerate the growth of digital start-up The Bread Digital, joining ex-GroupM colleagues Kenneth Wan and Eddie Ngan.Tsang, an investor in the relatively new agency, will work on the business over the next few months as it beds down a number of project wins for Unilever's Dove brand, as well as PCCW and Canon.The agency currently has five full time staff, but Tsang, who described his role at The Bread Digital as a mentor, said it will no doubt grow quickly."Digital is growing at a very high speed in Hong Kong, so we expect follow that path," he told Marketing.But he stressed it was not looking to become a large-sized agency anytime soon, opting instead to stay nimble.Tsang said he expects to stay on at Bread as an investor, but has several other projects in the pipeline.Tsang spent 19 years with WPP and said he still consults with his former employer, GroupM Hong Kong.
