Ivan Hady Wibowo, chief creative officer of J. Walter Thompson Jakarta is set to exit. He has been with the agency for over seven years. He will leave at the end of August, after eight years with the agency, to start up a technology company.
Wibowo has over fifteen years in the industry and has worked with agencies such as McCann Erickson, Batey and BBDO. He has also worked in the Singapore market.
While the agency has not yet found a replacement for Wibowo, it has appointed Leonard Wiguna as ECD
“It’s been an absolute pleasure working with the clients and the agency. I’m proud of what we’ve all built together; it’s been an incredible journey and it’s been an amazing experience for me. I’m excited about striking out on my own – the opportunity to be part of tech entrepreneur family is something I can’t resist – but I know I’ll stay close to the team at JWT Jakarta,” said Wibowo.
“Ivan has been a great creative partner and a true friend. As his partner in crime, I’m very sad to see him go, but as a friend, I wish him all the best,” said J. Walter Thompson Jakarta CEO Lulut Asmoro. “Meanwhile, I’m thrilled to announce Onat’s promotion. He’s a very talented creative who brings a fresh perspective to everything he does.”
