Ikea concludes global media review

Ikea has appointed Dentsu Aegis Network and Group M as its media agency partners. This concludes a media pitch process which started in March this year and worth an excess of US$400 million.

When contacted by Marketing, a spokesperson from Ikea Singapore confirmed that the Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand will not be affected by the global review. The incumbent on the regional account is currently Vizeum, which was appointed mid last year.

The agency was appointed after a review and the agency won the account from incumbents OMD in Singapore, PHD in Malaysia and Thailand. Vizeum’s appointment officially started in September 2015, for a contract period of two years.

Globally, Ikea periodically evaluates all marketing service supplier.
