IDA appoints Goodfellas for Smart Nation campaign efforts

The InfoComm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA)  has appointed local agency Goodfellas for its campaign efforts in publicising its major Smart Nation initiative.

A tender was held earlier in the year, with agencies DDB, Havas Worldwide Siren, Imagination, Wild Advertising & Marketing and Aretease in also in the pitch.

The awarded value is stated to be SG $3,224,250, according to Gebiz.

The Smart Nation project is the government’s major move to create a comprehensive data pool, with government agencies as well as corporates having access to build new technical infrastructure.

It aimed at driving connectivity in Singapore, as well as creating a database to build new tech infrastructure on. This is expected to affect areas such as transport, healthcare, communications, governance and business. (Read also: How Singapore’s Smart Nation project will affect communications)
