HPB launches ad activation to take the right steps against diabetes

Health Promotion Board (HPB) has launched a new campaign combating diabetes. Called “Let’s Fight Diabetes”, it features an out-of-home activation at XCO Media+’s platform dominance at Outram Park.

Utilising spaces such as platform screen doors, escalator glass panels and stair risers cleverly, HPB’s messaging prompts commuters to “Take the Right Steps” to better their health by being active and eating right. This is to encourage them to take control of their health in general.

The ads on passenger screen doors provide waiting passengers with tips on how to make small changes in their daily routines to make a difference to fight the disease.

The campaign extends to shopping belt areas such as Bugis and Orchard, as well as Novena station, within walking distance from Tan Tock Seng Hospital. It hopes to remind members of the public of the high prevalence of diabetes in Singapore while they go about their daily activities.
