Independent publishing company Infonation has secured Shawn Hiltz, vice president of marketing at Dow Jones, as its new CEO.
Hiltz, who starts in his role today, will take responsibility for a portfolio of print and digital products including luxury title The Reserve, Yù Háo Huì, PIE+S and property magazine LOFT.
Infonation, a company under Nest also runs a series of targeted events and seminars for clients.
For three and a half years, Hiltz served as Dow Jones vice president of marketing, Asia-Pacific. He has also held roles with various organisations in North America, Europe and Asia, including The Walt Disney Company.
“Shawn is a business strategist with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for disrupting classical thinking, which is a rare and precious combination” said Simon Squibb, CEO of Nest, a shareholder of Infonation.

Earlier this year Infonation relaunched one of its key titles Millionaireasia as The Reserve, refocusing the title around a VIP club for Hong Kong’s high net worth individuals and business professionals.
