The Agency group also includes a new sports marketing agency called Sports Star Network, a video production agency called Hello Studios and a digital marketing consultancy called Twenty Acres.According to a press statement, the reorganisation looks to provide focused leadership to scale and improve its influencer advertising strategy and marketing operations. It also looks to provide room to innovate in social media talent representation and intellectual property creation. In his new role, Ng will report to Vincent Ha (pictured centre), CEO of Gushcloud International. Meanwhile, Gushcloud’s country managers and key personnel across seven countries will report to him. This includes Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam and Korea.Prior to the move, he was chief operating officer of Gushcloud Group and country manager of Gushcloud Malaysia since 2013. He joined Gushcloud Malaysia in 2012 in its earlier iteration as an influencer marketing platform and led a business turnaround in Malaysia together with Gushcloud co-founder, Lim.He was appointed as the country manager of Gushcloud Malaysia in 2013 and grew the Malaysian office local business to RM 1 million in its first year, according to a press release Gushcloud. Since 2013, I’ve had a front-row seat to our growth in Malaysia and throughout Asia. Now with 140 people, we’re closer to achieving the goal of being the leading influencer marketing network in the region as we have an incredible team,” Ng said.“Ng has been a loyal and tenacious partner to Lim, Halim and I these past few years.  He shares our values of integrity, excellence and an engineering spirit. We believe that together with Ng, we will lead Gushcloud to create the future of marketing and entertainment in Southeast Asia,” Vincent Ha, CEO of Gushcloud International and chief strategy officer of its parent company, Yello Digital Marketing (YDM) Global, said.Late last year, Gushcloud unveiled plans to expand regionally and into the entertainment industry. This followed the launch of its new logo as part of its rebranding efforts. It also entered a joint venture with Korean mobile advertising company, Future Streams Network (FSN), to launch a performance-based influence marketing app for brands – Cauly GC – in Thailand and Indonesia. In a bid to break into the U.S market, Gushcloud also acquired uFluencer Group, a US-based social media talent management agency which represents influencers and beauty content creators globally. This resulted in the formation of the Gushcloud Talent Agency (GTA), a division within the company that is dedicated to the management of these social media talents.
