Google gets new Singapore lead

Google Singapore has named Joanna Flint as country manager for Singapore.

Moving from her previous role as head of consumer packaged goods, global accounts for Asia Pacific, flint takes on the role from Loren Shuster (pictured) who has moved into his new role as director of brand, new products & solutions, Google Asia Pacific.

Flint will now oversee the development of Google’s sales and business development operations in the country. Previously, she she developed business strategy and partnerships for Google’s largest brand advertisers across the region including P&G, L’Oreal and J&J.

She comes with over 15 years of experience in the marketing and digital industry and brings with her a broad client and agency perspective, having led British Airways and then Singapore Airlines’ global foray into eCommerce and CRM from their respective HQ’s, and having consulted to a diverse portfolio of blue chip clients including Diageo, Levi’s and IBM as a Senior Planner at Ogilvy & Mather’s regional head office in Singapore.
