Credit Suisse’s Campus Recruitment team has appointed Aldrina Thirunagaran (pictured) as assistant VP, virtual recruiter Asia Pacific. She is tasked to execute the virtual recruitment strategy aimed at increasing applications for internship and graduate opportunities for the company in the region.
Based in Singapore, Thirunagaran will report to Nikki Davies, director, head of campus recruitment Asia Pacific and Business Delivery Centres, for her newly created role. The role allows Credit Suisse to expand its school and location footprint, as well as its candidate pool, and will focus on the use of digital platforms and partnerships to attract candidates.
Prior to her latest role, Thirunagaran was assistant VP, content marketing at OCBC Bank, where she was responsible for digital content strategy and curation, and social media marketing across different businesses such as cards, brand and Wealth and FRANK by OCBC. In 2015, she conceptualised, produced and directed over 25 campaign videos for OCBC’s Consumer Financial Services. Thirunagaran was also responsible for launching campaigns such as “Better Banking Experience”, “Stay True” and a 2016 Chinese New Year campaign with local celebrity Pornsak.
Before joining OCBC, she also helmed the role of assistant VP, group strategic marketing and communications, spearheading branding through signature DBS events and sponsorships. She helped with content development and curation, while driving strong DBS branding and customer journeys. Among the projects Thirunagaran worked on included DBS Movies By The Bay and DBS Marina Regatta, both of which included digital engagement programmes via Facebook and Twitter.
Thirunagaran also worked at ESPN STAR Sports, Getty Images, Thomson Reuters, APL and Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
