Expedia’s US$100 million regional media account up for grabs

Online travel company, Expedia, is on the hunt for a media agency. The account cuts across Southeast Asia and India.

Marketing understands the account is worth US$100 million and the incumbent on the account is Carat. Marketing has reached out to Expedia for a statement.

Earlier this year, Expedia hired Simon Fiquet as general manager for Southeast Asia and India. As part of the Asia Pacific management team, Fiquet is responsible for expanding the brand’s footprint, P&L, and strategic business direction for Expedia brand across seven points of sale. He is based out of Singapore, he will manage operational execution, introduction of innovative products, and the overall business results for Expedia.

Meanwhile, the company also hired Lavinia Rajaram, as senior public relations manager for the APAC region.
