DDB Group Hong Kong has won the creative mandate for three beverage brands under The Coca-Cola Company, including Fuze Tea, Minute Maid and Hi-C without a pitch. The agency will build a dedicated team to handle the accounts.
The creative duties for all three brands were assigned to the agency based solely on credentials. DDB’s remit covers integrated campaigns across TV, print, point of sale, trade, outdoor, digital and consumer activation for the three beverage brands. Work is already underway, with the first campaign expected to launch in 2017.
DDB told Marketing that Minute Maid, Hi-C and Fuze Tea will be handled by dedicated creative teams with the latter two brands falling under the same team to facilitate better portfolio management.
“We are very pleased to join forces with DDB. They have a track record of consistently using creativity to drive marketing effectiveness and impact business results,” said Clory Wong, marketing director at The Coca-Cola Company for Hong Kong and Macau.
“Coca-Cola is renowned for its marketing excellence and quality of work,” said Carol Lam, CCO and MD at DDB Group Hong Kong. “We really look forward to sinking our teeth into the business and building a portfolio of influential work in Hong Kong.”
