Coca-Cola and Media Prima entertain youth

Coca-Cola and Media Prima owned television station TV3 have collaborated to reach out to Malaysian youth through music in the latest 'Buka Semangat' campaign.The two brands have chosen local artist Tomok, third season winner of the music reality show ‘One in a Million' as the campaign's face.Tomok will collaborate with British Indie rock band, One Night Only and fans will be able to follow his experience online throughout the campaign."Since he made his debut in the Malaysian music scene, we've seen how Tomok has overcome adversity to make a name for himself and his tenacity to face challenges and grow even more successful; which is an inspiration for youths anywhere and certainly someone who embodies the spirit of the Buka Semangat campaign," Rommel Fuentebella, head of integrated marketing communications and activations, Coca-Cola Far East, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei said.The six month long campaign will soon be rolling out contests and offer prizes.Promotions for the campaign will go out on Media Prima owned platforms with print ads running on News Strait Times, Harian Metro, TVC running on TV3, 8TV, NTV7, and radio ads being aired on Fly Fm and Hot Fm.
