Club Med, a company specialising in premium all-inclusive holidays, has appointed Right Hook Communications, a boutique PR and marketing agency in Singapore, to develop its public relations strategies for Thailand, Indonesia and Japan.
The agency is responsible for building Club Med into a brand synonymous with creating experiences in line with its mission “Amazing You”. Established in 2013, Right Hook’s list of clients include Suntec, Brotzeit, KokoPanda, REIT Association of Singapore and Singapore Fighting Championship.
In a statement to Marketing, a spokesperson for Club Med said this is the first time the company has appointed a PR agency and a pitch was carried out in May, with two other agencies being shortlisted.
Vincent Ong, vice president of marketing for Club Med East and South Asia & Pacific, said: “Being the pioneer of the premium all-inclusive holiday, we look forward to the creativity that Right Hook will provide to bring to life our differentiated experiences which last a lifetime.”
Wesley Gunter, PR director at Right Hook Communications, said: “Securing a regional account such as Club Med just goes to show the hard work and dedication our team has put in is being recognised. We look forward to working closely with the Club Med team and the respective local teams across Asia.”
This latest win comes after Right Hook won other well-known accounts this year, including Matsing, a home-grown local startup specializing in RF Lens Technologies; Maritime Singapore Connect Office Singapore, a SkillsFuture initiative by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore; and Licha Stelaus Productions who will be staging the Nidarosdomens Cathedral Men and Boys Choir in October.
Last year, Right Hook appointed Marc Bakker as its marketing director to grow its business and solidify client relationships.
