Video production and post-production company Chimney has restructured its existing advertising and content division (A&C) into two pillars - Chimney Post-Production and Chimney Production, with the former offering at the forefront. The restructure allows brands and agencies to work with dedicated teams depending on the post-production and production services required.Camilla Andersen, a 15-year industry veteran who has worked on commercials, documentaries and reality TV programmes in more than 70 countries, will be leading the A&C Asia Pacific division. Prior to joining Chimney, Andersen was a freelance video producer/director at Hogarth & Ogilvy for close to a year, according to her LinkedIn. She was also a producer/director at Propellerfilm Berlin and a series producer/showrunner at BET Networks. Andersen also worked for Travel Channel International and Vodafone New Zealand.Among the list of clients Chimney A&C works with include Singapore Airlines, Samsung, Singapore Tourism Board, Dentsu, JWT and TBWA.“We believe in engaging our audience through creative and innovative storytelling. We have over 21 years of expertise in post-production globally; this is the core of our business. At the same time, we have built our expertise in production to ensure we can serve the different needs of our clients. I have full confidence in the APAC team to deliver the award-winning Chimney standard of work – be it post-production or production – in the region," Michal Kalinowski, global Chimney group CEO, said. The company has also launched its Features division in Asia Pacific, with Singapore as the regional hub. The division allows Chimney to post-produce work such as feature films, TV series, documentaries and music videos for movie studios, as well as over-the-top platforms such as Netflix and TV networks.According to the press statement, Singapore remains a key market for Chimney in Asia Pacific, having experienced "significant growth" as the demand for "high-end" post-production and production services in the region continues to grow. The Singapore team has grown by 50% and the company plans to increase the headcount throughout the year.“We are committed to bringing the same standard of creativity and technical expertise to the region through our extremely talented APAC team and, when needed, through the extensive global network of Chimney talent. Talent is crucial to the work we do and I am thrilled by the team we have built in APAC. We are excited by the opportunities presented by Singapore and the region, and are looking for local talents to join our dynamic team," Timo Josten, managing director, APAC at Chimney, said.
