Lexus locks Twitter account for exclusive, VIP effect

Lexus International and American film studio The Weinstein Company will premiere two short films exploring the theme "Life is Amazing” on 27 October on the Lexus site.In a bid to lure in more Twitter fans and at the same time promote this new initiative, Lexus International is partnering with Twitter to provide exclusive, early access to both short films for @LexusInt account followers. Inspired by the idea of a VIP pre-release movie screening, the @LexusInt account will be locked for 24 hours on 26 October and the account followers will receive an early access private link to watch the movies in advance of the official release the next day.Lexus International launched a teaser for its Silver Screen Access campaign with this tweet on 17 October:https://twitter.com/LexusInt/status/523042789764775936Lexus International and Twitter have already previously collaborated on the #LexusInTokyo and #LexusInBeijing campaigns.The agency behind this campaign is Saatchi & Saatchi Fallon Tokyo.
