Axiata Digital Services and investment holding company PUC have strengthened its existing partnership with two new agreements involving their subsidiaries.
Under the first agreement, advertising agency and PUC’s subsidiary RedHot Media (RHM) will handle traditional media buying and planning services for Axiata Digital’s analytics, data, advertising (ada) agency. Likewise, ada will offer RHM digital services, which include but are not limited to digital media buying, programmatic and social media management.
The second agreement involves Presto, an e-wallet platform by PUC subsidiary EPP Solution, and Axiata Digital eCode’s mobile wallet Boost. The collaboration between Presto and Boost will explore interoperability between the two services, to enable end-users to use their service to make payments or transfers to other end-users for free.
Axiata Digital and PUC inked the first partnership in April this year, with PUC buying equity interest in 11street, Axiata Digital’s online marketplace. Following the move, group MD and CEO of PUC, Cheong Chia Chou, was named CEO of 11street.
According to Cheong, the signing of these partnerships will further strengthen the Presto app through the provision of a well-rounded platform that is able to meet the demands of the savvy consumers. “Indeed, the journey is just beginning for us, and we look forward to continue working hand-in-glove with the Axiata Digital towards developing Smart Technologies for the betterment of the market,” Cheong added.
“The signing of these agreements will enable PUC and Axiata Digital to work together more efficiently to provide flexibility and complementary services to each platform.
