Helen Forsyth (pictured) is leaving her role as area marketing director of GSK consumer healthcare, Asia.
Her last day is reported to be on 14 July. She will be returning to the UK after 16 years at GSK which included four years in Asia. Forsyth told Marketing that she will be pursuing other interests in a new geography.
As area marketing director, Forsyth is based in Malaysia and is responsible for marketing GSK consumer healthcare brands across Asia. She leads the regional marketing team as well as in-country marketing teams.
Brands under her portfolio are Panadol, Sensodyne, Physiogel, Polident, parodontax, Aquafresh, Horlicks, Scott’s and Eno. She oversees the markets of Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.
GSK’s core marketing team for Southeast Asia and the region, “Team Asia” is based in Malaysia.
