Zuckerberg makes a goat of himself

Facebook's attention-grabbing super app Home might have run into some launch phase glitches, but the company is showing a strong marketing commitment to the product.The social behemouth launched two ad spots in a week, prior to launch, proving the company's full weight is behind the new platform and also the founder's willingness to be personally involved.After an introductory spot, which was followed by Airplane, "Launch Day" has Zuckerberg making a grand speech about the app while an inattentive colleague sweeps through Facebook Home and makes the feeds come to life. This results in a goat screaming at Zuckerberg; a dirt bike gang skidding across the office and a half-naked man doing a cannon ball.Zuckerberg describes Home as being “designed around people, not app”, and while the product has already reached 100,000 downloads it has earned a disappointing overall average rating of 2.4 out of five on Google Play.Criticisms include “clunky” and “so frustratingly complicated” that at least one user “uninstalled it after just four or five hours” and some declared it “just too much”, and some decried “privacy is a really big concern”.However the app is at a fledgling stage in it's launch and early development.
