Zeno Group hires Suffian Abdul Rahman as creative lead

Communications agency Zeno Group has appointed Suffian Abdul Rahman as creative director of its Malaysia office.

In his new role, he will be responsible to direct the company’s creative process and finessing creative campaigns for key clients. He will report to David Lian, managing director of Zeno Group Malaysia and partner with Zeno’s creative community of over 30 content creators in hubs across Asia Pacific.

Suffian (pictured) comes with over a decade of varied experience in the creative industry, from copywriting to digital ideation, developing creative campaigns for globally renowned brands. He joins Zeno from Geometry Global Malaysia, where he was previously creative group head.

Lian said: “Clients today are demanding more creativity than ever, especially in social media and digital work. Over the past year, we’ve demonstrated our ability to take a fresh approach to many client briefs – leveraging our PR heritage, creative thinking, content creation capability and technology expertise in one tightly-integrated package.”

Suffian added, “My role at Zeno Malaysia, for both now and the future, is to explore and experiment beyond what I’ve done at agencies before this. It’s not about just applying what I know to a new environment; I believe that Zeno is the best place for me to help add value to clients in fresh new ways that transcend traditional applications for the digital medium. Innovation is why I’m here.”

As creative director, Suffian will oversee work for clients such as Audi, Intel, Lenovo, GlaxoSmithKline, and PacketOne Networks.
