Xaxis Hong Kong and AIA Hong Kong shone at Wednesday’s Asia eCommerce Awards 2019, being crowned this yearâ€™s overall agency and brand champions respectively.
Held at The Mira Hong Kong, the event honoured the best and brightest teams working in e-commerce.
Xaxis Hong Kong was awarded Best of Show â€“ Agency.Â It scoopedÂ four gold awards across the categories of Best e-Commerce â€“ Financial Services, Best Solution â€“ Sales Lead Generation, Best e-Commerce Strategies, and e-Commerce Marketing Agency of the Year.
The Xaxis team also took home one silver and one bronze in the categories of Best User Experience and Best Use of Programmatic.
Most of the prizes were awarded for the agencyâ€™s commendable work on AIA Hong Kongâ€™s â€śAIA HK Voluntary Health Insurance Schemeâ€ť campaign. It enabled the brandâ€™s target audience – parents, professionals, and practitioners from the business and finance sectors – to have a better understanding of the Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme (VHIS).
Offering individual indemnity hospital insurance plans certified by the cityâ€™s Food and Health Bureau, the scheme was launched by the Hong Kong government in April 2019. The campaign was intended to spread awareness but was also meant to drive direct sales and bolster AIA Hong Kongâ€™s leading position in the industry.
Xaxis Hong Kongâ€™s effort successfully spurred interest. From March to May 2019, the campaign recorded over 55 million impressions with potential customers and almost 3,000 conversions, 150 times more than for any other AIA Hong Kong iShop products..
AIA Hong Kong grabbed the title of Best of Show – Brand and was presented with three golds and one silver award for the â€śAIA HK Voluntary Health Insurance Schemeâ€ť campaign.
