Wunderman Thompson Singapore has appointed Rebecca Nadilo (pictured right) as chief strategy officer. She joins from BBDO Singapore’s where she was the head of strategy.
She brings with her over 14 years of experience across Asia Pacific and the US, Nadilo skill set spans business, digital and creative strategy, communications planning, CX and service design, creative development, brand and organisation leadership. She has been with BBDO for over six years, joining the agency as director of digital strategy in New York and moving to Singapore in 2015. In her time with BBDO, some of the clients she worked with include Visa, Fonterra, Sulwhasoo, Laneige, and local clients Tiger beer. Nadilo also has worked with agencies Isobar and M&C Saatchi as senior digital planner and integrated planner respectively.
According to Nadilo, Wunderman Thompson has “real and tangible” investment in capabilities such as data, CX and eCommerce, as well as a smart and collaborative people who make up these capabilities. “With this, our creative will be sharper, distinctive and more effective,” she said.
Meanwhile, Farrokh Madon (pictured left) takes on the title of chief creative officer with Wunderman Thompson. Prior to the merger between JWT and Wunderman, Madon held the position of chief creative partner with JWT for over two years. He first embarked on his career in enterprise in Mumbai and has also worked for agencies such as Y&R, Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi, Batey, M&C Saatchi and others.
In a career spanning Singapore, Amsterdam and India, Madon has worked with brands such as SIA, Mastercard, Listerine, Kellogg’s, Gillette and BMW. “Creativity inspired by data can amplify a brand’s impact and lead to engaging experiences. I am excited to be working with Nimesh Desai, Nadilo and a talented team to create work that appeals to both the left and right sides of the brain,” Madon said.
