Conneen takes the reigns at Wunderman Asia Pacific

Martin Conneen will take over WPP agency Wunderman as Asia Pacific regional president with immediate effect.Conneen takes the reigns from Stephane Faggianelli, who shifts into a new role as regional president for Wunderman Europe/Middle East & Africa. Faggianelli has served as Asia Pacific regional president since 2006.Conneen (pictured) will oversee Wunderman’s efforts across the Asia region, taking charge of 14 countries, and 42 offices, including Australia. In addition he joins the Wunderman Executive Board where Faggianelli is already a member.He first joined Wunderman in 2006 to form Wunderman International in Tokyo to serve the Microsoft business in Japan. Most recently, Conneen served as chief operating officer of Wunderman’s Brand Experience division and previously managing director, global client lead, Team Nokia.Both will report to Wunderman chairman & CEO Daniel Morel.Conneen will be based in Singapore and is supported by Krishnan Menon, chief client officer, Wunderman Asia Pacific; Nimesh Desai, managing director, Wunderman Southeast Asia; and Michel Mommejat, managing director, AdPeople Asia Pacific.  Each was recently promoted by Faggianelli.
