World’s top artists sing Songs for the Philippines

Top music icons have donated songs for an album meant to raise funds for ongoing Typhoon Yolanda relief efforts in the Philippines.Record labels Sony, Warner Music and Universal have collaborated to launch a compilation album called Songs for the Philippines to support the Philippine Red Cross.The album contains 39 tracks from different genres and eras, from Justin Timberlake's “Mirrors” to The Beatles' "Let It Be." The compilation is now available for purchase Monday at iTunes for $9.99 and for streaming on iTunes Radio.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoDY8ce_3zkSongs for the Philippines strikes a familiar humanitarian chord.
