Wavemaker has elevated associate director, Eunice Loh (pictured left) to digital and platforms director, global client solutions and Southeast Asia. In addition, this sees Abhijeet Pradhan (pictured right) joining the team as associate digital director. Both Loh and Pradhan will report to Rose Huskey, who was recently promoted from MD client solutions, Singapore to CEO, Southeast Asia.
In Loh’s new role, she will be leading digital media strategy, planning and operations to deliver effective and innovative communications plans across all clients of global client solutions and the agency’s local markets. With prior knowledge in GroupM’s [m]Platform technology offerings, she will continue to provide strategic leadership in regional, global and large local pitches and identify opportunities for new business in creating a client centric digital activation hub.
Pradhan brings with him over 10 years of experience in managing and developing digital marketing strategies for brands online. He has experience in managing SEM and PPC campaigns, as well as an understanding of web analytics, online marketing concepts, procedures, and strategies, among others. He has worked with brands such as Microsoft, MS Windows, FedEx, Hershey’s and others.
Previously, he was a senior manager at Interactive Avenues, overseeing all paid search and social development. Prior to that, he was a business manager at GroupM, conducting client, partner and competitor research to identify opportunities and branding strategies, as well as analysing prospective products, on top of other operational duties. He was also a manager at Resultrix Media and a portfolio analyst at Directi.
“Starting a new job in a new city can make one anxious, but it’s also exciting. Am being open to the amazing changes which are occurring in the field that interests me,” Pradhan said.
“Digital plays a huge role in the media game and it has become increasingly apparent in recent years. We will continue to embrace this and play it to our advantage by having the best talents in place to be well-equipped to tackle imminent challenges and working towards providing the effective solutions for them,” Huskey said.
Meanwhile, the agency also made two other leadership appointments recently, in addition to the promotion of Huskey. MD of client solutions Hong Kong, Allison Coley, was promoted to CEO, North Asia, while Gordon Domlija was appointed regional president, Wavemaker Asia Pacific.
Branching out from his position in China, where he heads up Wavemaker’s largest and fastest growing APAC market, Domlija will now lead the region for the agency. He has successfully led Wavemaker in China during the past year, culminating in Wavemaker China being ranked second in the market. Domlija will add the title of chairman for Wavemaker China and continue to directly support some key clients in China in addition to his regional responsibilities.
In their new roles, Huskey and Coley will expand their current responsibilities leading Wavemaker’s Hong Kong and Singapore hub for international client services by adding market duties. They will report to Alex Altman, president, global client operations, for client solutions and Domlija for markets.
