Watsons Malaysia unveils Beautygram mobile app

Watsons Malaysia has launched a new mobile app, Beautygram for its VIP customers to share their beauty thoughts and get rewards. The Beautygram app serves to enhance and redefine customer journey experience and allowing them to make smarter purchase decisions, Watson’s spokesperson said.

Available exclusively by invitation only, Watsons Beautygram app consists of a few different features for customers such as the “Your Beauty Ideas” section, where the community are encouraged to post their beauty ideas, suggestions as well as interacting and commenting on other beauty user’s ideas.

On the “Let’s Talk Beauty” section, features some of the hottest topics on skin problems, beauty trends and best beauty remedies which are discussed in a forum. While, in the “Watsons’ Blog” section, customers could find updated beauty news and happenings, including new store products and openings, events and workshops.

To further understand the beauty needs and concerns of its customers, the app incorporates a customer feedback survey platform. The corresponding results will be shared with the community, to get a better general understanding of the latest trends.

Watson’s spokesperson added that smartphones are the hub of our digital lives today. Mobile technologies have revolutionised how we search for, try on and shop for beauty products and services. Technological advances facilitates the two way interactivity of the user through a community-based social engagement platform where beauty tips and insights are shared.

“The Beautygram app is functional as a conversational platform designed for beauty lovers in exploring new ideas and trends and be rewarded with exclusive benefits such as invitation to private events, trials on the latest products and rewards points collection,” Caryn Loh, general manager and country head of Watsons Malaysia said.

The new Watsons Beautygram app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
