Times Square has joined the marketing machine that is Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, as part of a major six-month promotional push that includes live events and exhibitions.The video, starring singer and actor (and Star Wars super fan) Aarif Lee as Hong Kong’s first Jedi knight brings an action-packed encounter with the Dark Lord, Darth Vader, to fans across multiple platforms.Set in the heart of Causeway Bay at Times Square, the video features the city’s spectacular skyline and incorporates visual special effects developed by Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light & Magic team to bring the Star Wars phenomenon to Hong Kong. Child stars 'Ga Ga' and 'Chu Nui' from recent hit movie “Little Big Master” also make a special appearance as the first Hong Kong Jedi trainees.https://youtu.be/L4ximCwH3HITimes Square will also launch a Jedi Academy, where kids aged 6 to 12 years can receive light saber training from a Jedi Master and duel with the Sith Lord himself, Darth Vader.From October to December, a multi-phase Star Wars exhibition will open at Times Square’s Open Piazza, Covered Piazza as well as the Atrium. Classic characters, weapons, costumes and vehicles from the Star Wars saga, LEGO Star Wars Exhibition in 1:20 ratio; epic scenes from the movies recreated in installations.
