WATCH Team OMG emerge as the best bartenders

On Tuesday 16th June, Singapore’s top media agencies gathered at the prestigious 28 Hong Kong Street for the inaugural Golden Shaker grand final.

Hosted by adtech and big data firm BlisMedia, this saw international comedian, Imaan Hadchiti take control of the microphone as each team made their way to the bar for their moment of glory, with a panel of guest judges tasting and scoring each cocktail

Whilst not every team could walk away with the ‘golden’ prize, a few individual team members were awarded for their excellence.

Lauren Cadman from Mindshare Singapore took the ‘Best Shaker’ award and colleague Moses O’Hara stole the night’s ‘Silver Strainer’ award for his clever pouring techniques. Omnicom Media Group superstar, Sofia Savvidou was the night’s ‘Best Muddler’ and the ‘Golden Fail’ award went to the first Omnicom Media Group team who, despite the other team’s win, might have failed to produce the goods but gave the crowd something to laugh about.

In the end there could only be one ‘Golden Shaker’, and after the judges made their decision, the title went to Team Omnicom Media Group for their “Sir Basil like Reggae” cocktail masterpiece.
