Visa Makes Most Of The Olympics

UK - Drawing on the hype of the upcoming Olympics, global partner Visa has rolled out initiatives to further engage its customers.Visa will showcase its latest payment innovations at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, presenting new ways to pay via mobile phone and chip-enabled payment cards at retail locations throughout London and Olympic venues.Additionally, Visa and its partners will allow Visa-sponsored athletes, trialists and visitors to experience its new payment services.Jim McCarthy, head of products at Visa, said electronic payments help meet the needs of consumers who are on-the-go, especially during the Olympic Games."We will be demonstrating the future of payments in London - a future where most consumers will rely on mobile devices, tablets and PCs to manage their daily financial lives," he said.
