Valli Lakshmanan moves to a global role with Verifone

Valli Lakshmanan, former IPG Mediabrands’ APAC head of digital has moved to a global marketing role with Verifone.As VP of global marketing, he will be based in San Jose and report to Glen Robson, EVP, Head of Global Terminal Business Solutions.Verifone is a payment and commerce enablement solutions provider. Its products and services include mobile, countertop and self-service payment devices, software, and web-based gateways.In APAC, it has clients throughout the region and local offices located in China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. The Verifone Asia Pacific Head Office is located in Singapore.Prior to joining Mediabrands, he was the global head of Mobext at Havas London from June 2012 to December 2013, overseeing 14 offices worldwide. Lakshmanan started his career working at Lowe Lintas in ‘98, setting up its iFCB operations for South India; and later joining Havas Worldwide in ’02 to manage Dell’s regional business.
