Valencia Club de Fútbol has appointed Dentsu Sports Asia (DSA), a Singapore-based sports marketing subsidiary of Dentsu Inc., as a strategic partner. The two-year partnership will see DSA provide the six-time Spanish La Liga Champions, with marketing, branding, commercial and sponsorship services.
With Singaporean businessman Peter Lim becoming the owner in 2014, the club hopes to expand its presence in Asia by building on successes on the field and its reputation of developing young talented footballers. In July, the club also decided to open its first overseas office in Singapore to build long lasting partnerships with the football community in Asia through its partnership with Dentsu Sports Asia.
