Unilever and DDB Group Hong Kong have picked up the title ofÂ Best of Show â€“ Campaign and Best of Show â€“ Agency at the MARKies Awards 2016.
With the highest number of points given by aÂ panel of judges, the winner of the Best of Show â€“ Campaign went to Unilever Hong Kong for its emotionally-charged “Bring Back the Taste of Home in the Memories of Family Love” campaign.
The multiple top-rated campaign teamed up with Vizeum to encourage people, especially the younger generation, to dine at home with the reminder that there is no greater taste than a motherâ€™s cooking.
In total, Unilever secured four golds in Best Idea â€“ Content, Best Use of Content, Best Idea â€“ Social, Best Use of Social, in addition to one silver and one bronze awards.
Another overall winner for the evening included DDB, which secured five golds in Best Idea â€“ Video, Best Use of Video, Best Idea â€“ Customer Engagement, Best Idea â€“ Apps and Best Idea â€“ Experiential.
The agency also snagged two silvers at the category of Best Idea â€“ Content and Best Use of Digital along with one bronze in Best Idea â€“ Launch/Relaunch.
DDB clinched these accolades for various initiatives with its clients such as McDonald’s Restaurants, Vitasoy and Hongkong Land.
