Twitter has appointed Komli Media as its exclusive sales partner for Southeast Asia.
This will expand the availability of Twitter’s Promoted Products portfolio to marketers in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
Under the partnership, Komli will manage all Southeast Asia sales and develop the regional market for Twitter and its Promoted Products through a series of education and training programs for agencies and large advertisers, said Komli.
A Komli Engage sales team specialising in Twitter’s advertising products will be offering advertising solutions including Promoted Tweets, Promoted Accounts, and Promoted Trends which were available previously only in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Latin America.
Shailesh Rao (pictured), Twitter’s vice president of international revenue said that Southeast Asia is one of its fastest growing markets, adding: “We are seeing significant interest from marketers who want to use our Promoted Products to build their businesses and connect with consumers, and working with Komli, and its management team, gives Twitter a strong partner with a footprint throughout the region.”
“Social media growth in this region is among the highest in the world, and Twitter is one of the most recognized and utilized platforms in our region,” Akshay Garg, vice president, international and managing director for SEA, said.
The business will be led by Matt Sutton, general manager of Engage, Komli’s social media business unit, along with all other social media solutions offered by Komli in the region.
