Twinings Tea has appointed Leo Burnett as its first creative agency in Asia Pacific to support its growth plans across the region.
The appointment was made after a structured and disciplined pan-regional competitive pitch that began in early January 2013.
The agency is tasked with the creative business for markets including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Will Ursell, Twinings brand development director Asia, said the decision was based on a belief that Leo Burnett understood what they were trying to achieve.
