Turner International Asia Pacific has appointed Julie Alfaro-Santiago to the newly-created role of director for distribution and client solutions in a bid to decentralize management in Southeast Asia Pacific.
Based in Manila, Alfaro-Santiago (pictured) will lead the charge to target new, untapped revenue streams for Turner and get closer to its advertisers and partners in the Philippines.
Prior to Turner, Alfaro-Santiago worked for 13 years with ABS-CBN, leaving the media conglomerate as sales head of cable channels and print media group. She is also a marketing veteran of 14 years with then Publicis-Basic Advertising as media group manager and media group head.
“This excellent addition to our team makes a big statement about the commitment to Turner’s in-market presence,” said Robi Stanton, Turner’s vice president of sales and narketing, Southeast Asia Pacific.
“Capitalizing on Julie’s 20 years of experience in the Philippine market, she will help us develop our existing business there and provide on-the-ground responsiveness – as well as target new, untapped opportunities for growth.”
