Tribal Worldwide wins Costa Cruise Lines account in China

Tribal Worldwide China, the digital arm of DDB China Group, has won the social and social CRM duties for Costa Cruise Lines in China, including communication strategies, brand propositions, campaigns and social communication.The announcement follows a number new business wins of DDB China Group in 2016, including Wanda Hotels & Resorts, Cherries from Chile and Babolat.“Costa Cruises is the first international cruise brand in China, and one of the leading brands in the market. The focus is now on differentiating the brand and setting it apart from the inevitable influx of competitors over the next few years,” said Allen Wang, managing director of Tribal Worldwide China.“We were impressed by DDB’s category knowledge and understanding of our business challenges. Their creativity also demonstrated a strategic opportunity to take our brand to the next level, and they were able to bring cohesiveness to diverse elements of a communication programme. I believe this team can deliver something out of the ordinary for Costa in China,” said Colin He, marketing director, China & North Asia of Costa Group Asia.
