TM hunts for agency to manage big data and advanced analytics

Telekom Malaysia (TM) is on the hunt for an agency to manage big data and advanced analytics architecture services. TM has clarified to A+M that it is not looking for marketing-led big data consultancies.

According to the request for information (RFI) seen by A+M, interested parties should have project experience in big data and advanced analytics architecture consultancy and an understanding of Malaysia and the telecoms market. The closing date for the RFI submission is 5 August 2019.

Meanwhile, TM is also currently in the midst of a creative pitch involving below the line duties and a media pitch. The telco said in a previous tender that it is looking to appoint a panel of agencies for the respective creative and media duties. The incumbents for BTL are CD Advertising, PTS Advertising, Fat Boys, FM Media and Ova, while m/SIX is the lead agency for unifi, managing media planning and buying duties.
