Tigerair selects social media agency

Tigerair has appointed Leo Burnett as its social media agency of record following a pitch.

The appointment will see Leo Burnett manage Tigerair’s integrated social media channels that includes Facebook, Twitter and Instagram across Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong and Indonesia. In 2013, the airline also underwent a rebranding exercise. This was handled by TSLA.

Marketing has reached out to Leo Burnett for more information on the account win.

Teh Yik Chuan, director of sales and marketing of Tigerair said: “Leo Burnett has impressed us with their out of box thinking and understanding of our brand. The chemistry from both teams are strong and we’re looking forward to collaborative work.”

Rebecca Ang, general manager of Leo Burnett who led the pitch also added “We are thrilled to be partnering Tigerair. We are ready to embark the Tigerair journey and continue to build the brand in this socially connected world across the region.”

Tigerair is a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines Limited and is listed on the SGX Mainboard and was established in 2004.
