Jewelry maker Tiffany & Co. has appointed MEC as its media agency following a pitch called earlier in July.
According to global news, other media agencies vying for the account included MediaCom and OMD while Ark Advisors in New York had been managing the review process. The luxury jeweler is reported to spend over US$100 million in media buys globally.
Prior to the appointment, Tiffany & Co. had partnered up with various media agencies regionally. In Asia Pacific, the brand has been working with Carat. Meanwhile in February this year, Tiffany & Co. also handed its creative account to WPP’s Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide.
