The Apprentice Set To Make Asia Debut

Sony Pictures Television Networks Asia is rolling out The Apprentice Asia, the Asian adaptation of the popular global reality series The Apprentice with Expedia, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and AirAsia as partners. The show will premiere on AXN channel across 21 countries in the region in the first half of the 2013. It will be hosted by aviation veteran Tony Fernandes, who leads Malaysian entertainment and leisure group Tune Group, the parent company of AirAsia and Caterham Formula One team. Production will be done by global entertainment production company FremantleMedia Asia.

ShoreTel appoints PR agency

ShoreTel, provider of unified communications (UC) platforms, has appointed Asia-Pacific Connections (APC) as its public relations agency of record. With the appointment, APC will be in charge of increasing brand awareness and establishing relations with Singapore-based media. The PR firm will hence offer strategic counsel to help position them in the market. This appointment comes as the California-based firm is looking to grow its presence in Singapore.

New review site for business travellers

Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), business travel, meetings and events management firm, has launched travel review site CWT Hotel Intel for business travellers. Targeting companies, the site allows business travellers to share hotel ratings and reviews, providing updated information on hotels including room availability, hotel facilities and rates. CWT Hotel Intel is powered by Vinivi, a travel-review firm.
