Groupe SEB, a French consortium that produces small appliances, has handed Vizeum global media duties across multiple markets including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong. The job scope covers digital and offline media, as well as customer experience, CRM, and e-retail. Among the list of brands under Groupe SEB include Tefal, WearEver, Mirror, Moulinex, and Panex. The incumbent on the account is Mindshare.
Guillaume Planet, VP media and digital marketing at Groupe SEB, said the company is at a turn when it comes to the client-agency relationship and its model for collaboration. “In the Vizeum offer we found our values, and at the same time the expertise we needed: A team behind our core challenge; placing the consumer experience as a key driver for growth for Groupe SEB today and tomorrow,” Planet said.
Vizeum Malaysia’s GM Soon Liang Tan said it looks forward to creating success stories together in the Malaysian market. “Leveraging on our access to intimate audience insights, Vizeum will play a pro-active role in developing meaningful consumer experiences that drive growth for SEB’s portfolio of prestigious brands,” Tan added.
Meanwhile, Thomas Le Thierry, Vizeum’s global president said that Groupe SEB is under a large-scale transformation program where media becomes a lever to build global brands, collect data, transact but also create long lasting relationship with the end consumer through customer experience.
“They were looking for a global agency partner with an established team in hubs including Paris, New York City and Hong Kong, and strong localised experience in managing large brand portfolios. Our team’s capabilities in strategy and execution and our ability to build a multi-discipline integrated offer was a compelling answer to their expectations,” he said.
