Tealive lovers rejoice, for your favourite brand is partnering exclusively with GrabFood! The bubble tea brand teased consumers with a video on its social media platforms captioned: “When two homegrown names unite.” The video said “Tealive champur GrabFood. Exclusively on GrabFood.” A+M has reached out to Tealive and GrabFood for comment.
Separately, Tealive is doubling down on its expansion efforts, entering countries such as Brunei, the UK, China, and Australia. The company is also planning an IPO that could potentially raise about RM300 million.
Meanwhile, Grab has been relentless in its efforts to become an everyday super app. As the year draws to a close, it is looking to become the one-stop platform for all travel needs. This ranges from planning a year-end holiday to getting around in a city. OYO Rooms recently came on board as a partner to offer consumers access to a wide and varied range of affordable and convenient accommodations. Grab and Booking.com are also offering an exclusive deal for destinations in Indonesia.
It is also working to reduce single-use plastic cutlery by introducing the “No cutlery” toggle for all GrabFood orders, calling on consumers to opt for no-cutlery when ordering food. This is part of GrabFood’s long-term sustainability plan which will see it work closely with its ecosystem of restaurant-partners, delivery-partners and consumers to reduce the impact on the environment by advocating more environmentally-friendly and sustainable business solutions.
