TBWA\Singapore gets new lead

TBWASingapore has appointed BBH’s managing partner and regional business director Ara Hampartsoumian to the role of  managing director.

Hampartsoumian will join TBWASingapore on July 21 and will report directly to Philip Brett, president of TBWA South and Southeast Asia.

Hampartsoumian’s expanded responsibilities will encompass new business opportunities for both Singapore based and international companies, as well as overseeing existing client activity for the agency.

Hampartsoumian was with BBH for over eight years holding the position of managing partner and regional business development director. He has over 25-years of experience in the communications business working in global markets such as Canada, the US, and the Bahamas.

Brett said: “Our focus is on delivering world-class, innovative solutions for our clients and Hampartsoumian’s experience is very unique. He has an outstanding record when it comes to new business development initiatives, over 13 years of experience with major local brands.”

John Hadfield, CEO of BBH told Marketing: “It is always very flattering when a BBH-er takes on a leadership role in the industry. And it also provides great opportunities for the fantastic young bench of talent in our business. We wish Ara all the very best in his new adventure and hope to see him back one day.”

Earlier, TBWA Singapore’s general manager Lou Dela Pena exited the company to lead Publicis Singapore.
