Swiss International Air Lines has appointed Mindshare Singapore to take care of its media planning and buying duties ahead of the launch of its direct flights from Singapore to Zurich, starting 13 May 2013.
Mindshare has previously worked with Swiss International Air Lines’ parent company Lufthansa’s media duties over the past five years. The account was given without a pitch and the appointment will be an ongoing one. No time frame has been stated for the contract.
To announce the launch of the new airline and push early ticket sales the airline will be launching a multimedia campaign by mid-March.
Falko Leonhardt, in charge of intercontinental marketing communications projects for the airline, said that the Singapore-Zurich sector would be an important new route for it.
