Starcom retains Céstbon’s media account

Céstbon, one of China's leading bottled-water brands, has again appointed Starcom Guangzhou to handle all media planning and buying duties in China after a closed-door pitch.The agency will work on Céstbon portfolio of brands including Céstbon, MULEN, FIRE and Afternoon Milk Tea.Starcom Guangzhou has been the incumbent agency for the past three years, helping to solidify Céstbon pole market position in Southern China through a repertoire of integrated marketing solutions."We re-appointed Starcom Guangzhou because of their unique and in-depth consumer insights, as well as their solid media planning and execution abilities," said Ricky Li, marketing director for Céstbon.Ellen To, managing director of SMG Guangzhou added, “Competition in the bottled-water category in China is highly intense.”“The agency’s forte in architecting connected human experiences through our consumer insights will ensure we continue to grow Céstbon’s business from strength to strength.”In 2014, Starcom Guangzhou played a pivotal role in integrating the bottled water into the forth installment of the Transformers movie, making it the first time a Chinese bottled-water has achieved this feat.
