Standard Chartered has launched a Standard Chartered e$aver Campaign to raise the public’s awareness of how the bank can help grow their savings. The campaign lasts two months and runs on print, targeting individuals in their 40’s. The campaign was created by TBWASingapore and media agency OMD.
Sony buys out winning BBC show
Sony Pictures Television’s networks, Asia, has acquired the latest season of BBC’s drama series, Sherlock for beTV. The acquisition comes on the heels of the series’ season 2 finale which garnered strong viewership. Season 3 of the show will begin filming in early 2013. Joyce Yeung, SVP & GM sales & distribution, Asia, BBC Worldwide said: “The theories surrounding the cliff-hanging final episode of Series 2 very quickly became a sensation on discussion forums and social media.”
AsiaSpa magazine gets new lead
Blu Inc Media Hong Kong, a subsidiary of SPH Magazines, has appointed Vivienne Tang as the new editor-in-chief of AsiaSpa, Asia’s spa and resort magazine. Tang brings to AsiaSpa over a decade of experience in the magazine publishing industry. Her editorial experience covers genres ranging from fashion, luxury lifestyle and wellness to high society. The company plans to expand the AsiaSpa brand internationally through online platforms, such as the website and social networking sites. Plans for an overhaul of the website are already in place.
